Life pro tip: if you want a car but are worried it isn’t practical just say fuck it and buy it anyways. I think you’ll find it does everything you need, and if it doesn’t you can always find another solution.
Will these fit? Well yes, this picture was after I got them home
Admittedly it was a full load
I wouldn’t trade this car for anything because of “practicality”

You did this post only for the plate shot, right.

Word. A car that runs when you want it to is practical. One that runs, that you enjoy driving, is sound money management and good life choices haha

He’s had it on the car for a while.

Yep. We have gotten by since 2003/2005 with an Evo and Mini. They work just fine. Just have to be a bit clever some times.

I’ve had the plate for a while, everyone should know it’s there. Honestly I’ve started to forget about it unless someone comments on it

At least you have split-folding seats. I’m still loathing that I didn’t check mine didn’t came with it before buying it.

Front seat loading, pure genius. A car isn’t being used to its full potential unless you have some bulky object in the front seat, and I’m not talking about my girlfriend.
I’m looking at a Mustang in about an hour. Curious to see what they’re really like.

GT or EB?
I’ve used the front seat for stuff a lot. Partly because getting stuff in the back seat isn’t always an option. Cargo capacity is decent, the biggest limitation is the trunk opening, long tall boxes don’t fit. When I picked up my exhaust from UPS it didn’t fit in the box so I had to take it out and leave the box behind

That would certainly make things harder. These boxes actually fit in the trunk with the seats up, I put them down so they’d sit on the seat backs instead of the leather

Yeah, I had to resort to lots of plastic bags and removing the seat bottom completely when I was transporting winter tires the other day.

I actually have that problem in my house. Staircase prevents furniture so everything has to come from IKEA and get unboxed in the living room. It was good preparation for buying the Fiat.

Didn’t Motortrend share a pic of your plate?

I just wish that the “fastback” model actually was a liftback hatch.

Yup I agree I daily drove my convertible rx7 for almost 3 years. Did just about everything I needed to in it. Best thing was only a 2 seater so always had an excuse to not have to give rides and stuff.

Absolutely, unless it’s a Caterham.

I’ve taken my wife, older daughter, and their luggage on a 3 day trip in mine. They’re practical enough.

I REALLY wanted a Pontiac Solstice GXP a couple years ago but stopped myself and bought my Mustang instead because I was so worried about how I’d live with two seats and a small trunk. I hate that I made that decision because I still want a Solstice and know now that I probably would have been fine even with the space restraints. If I really ever needed to, I could borrow a friend’s pick up or someone.

I’m 90% sure they did, or at least one of the main guys from there did. Maybe Lieberman?

The only thing that’s really compromised my Mustang is a baby car seat and a base. Those things are stupid bulky.

Amen! I’ve hauled plenty of large items in my Camaro no problem. For the larger jobs I tow a small Harbor Freight trailer behind my old Saturn.

Yeah. Very spacious with the seats down. I fit my huge mbrp exhaust package in mine(was a squeeze but fit). Also, fit four wheels w/tires(really tight with the pp wheels).

My MBRP box didn’t fit, but the exhaust was fine out of the box.

Mine fit, but i had to put it in through the front pass side. Tight squeeze though.
